Racing to Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I'm training to run the Rock 'n' Roll San Antonio Marathon on November 14, 2010 as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training.

In return for the training, the coaching, and all the other resources that Team In Training is providing me, I'm raising money for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. We need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

I will be running my marathon in honor of Zach Mills. Zach is a friend-of-a-friend who has been through some terrible, terrible ordeals battling Burkitts Lymphoma. Until I joined TNT, I had no idea what nightmares those affected by cancer face. Zach has been through more than I can imagine and is a hero simply for getting through his treatments and pressing onward. You can read Zach's story here.
