Running to Save Lives
A big ole Texas thanks for clicking my "support" link! And if you know anything about Texas, everything is big! So that is a really BIG thanks to all y'all! Your support is unmeasurable and even more so invaluable.
Speaking of big, as you might know, I am participating in an endurance cause. A big cause! Or in this case running for a cause! You see, I'm training once more to participate in an event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training to run, endure and finish another 26.2 mile marathon. You might be thinking, "another" one? Yes! Marathon numero dos (that's "number two" y'all). In fact, I am currently in the middle of training and raising funds for this up & coming event, which is taking place in San Francisco, CA on October 18, 2009 where I'm going to "run like a girl" with Nike.
If you'd like to help with any amounts of monetary donations, have simple curiosities, will be scream-cheering for me silently in your head or want to run an unbelievable amount of miles yourself, keep on clicking around my site. You'll eventually land where you need to be!
Should you; however, decide to donate money, please know all of us on Team In Training are raising these funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure! Each day we get closer and closer to that.
So donate, join or volunteer today, it's fast, easy and fun! What else have you to do? Keep in mind; however, I don't think TNT takes your first born as payment. . . . or your dog. And should you decide to join the team, buy some new running shoes.
Thank you for your support!
