I have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, I’m participating in the Rock n' Roll Madrid full marathon as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.

In 2010 LLS was able to invest $72 million towards blood cancer research, financial support 347 research projects, provide financial support for patient families, as well as spear head other means of support and comfort for patients and their families. All of that was done with money donated by regular people, just like you. They gave up what little they felt they could donate and when we put it all together we can do a world of good. I'd ask that you would give generously and hope that you know that you really are making a difference in the lives of those living with these diseases. I'll be training again and hoping to cut my time from the last marathon; but what's really important in this effort is the fact that I'll be raising money for this amazing cause.
