In Memory of Noah Kiser, the nephew of a mentor on our team, whom on March 16th, 2012 lost this battle to Cancer.
In Honor of my dear cousin Cynthia Balderrama whom has survived Leukemia as a baby and is a great contributor to the happiness of MANY people! Love you Chichita!!
This will be my third straight season with Team and Training!
I have Participated in my very first Marathon on December 4th 2011 and completed it in 5 Hours, 38 Minutes and 20 Seconds.
My second season is coming up in a couple days in Madrid, Spain and I will be sure to post updates shortly including my time for entertainment purposes only .
During my two seasons, I have been able to raise a total of 5,501 USD for the fight and support the cause and hope no other mother or father ever lives through watching their innocent child go through cancer.
Here is a little bit about my training:
I average about 15 miles M-F and long runs are anywhere between 6 and 20 miles, peaking at twenty about three weeks out of my main event and tapering down to 10, rest and then Race Day!
I have ran to date over 600 miles since August 2011 when I started training for White Rock.
This last month (March 2012) has been my best month ever and I ran a total of 118.3 Miles.

I have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, I’m participating in a sports endurance event as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.
