Austin celebrated his 10th birthday on March 1. Please make a donation to help support the fight against blood cancer so that other children like Austin will not have to go through all the treatments in the future!

I have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, I’m participating in The Rock n Roll Madrid Marathon in Spain on April 22, 2012 as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.
I am running the Madrid Marathon in honor of Austin (pictured above). One of the coolest kids I know!
Austin was diagnosed at age of 7yrs old in July 2009 with T-cell ALL. The cancer is gone - and he is 1 1/2 yrs into the 3 1/4yr treatment protocol.
He has dealt with fungal infections, swine flu, tephlitits of the gut, pneumonia, ear infections, viruses (colds) that dropped his counts- but he is still going strong with God's strength!
He is now 9yrs old and in the 3rd grade. He is still keeping up with his gifted classes even with absences.
He loves music, art, video games, his family and puppies.
He loves Christian music and wants to play the guitar one day.
He has helped with Carter blood drives, Morrow drives, LLS walks, Honored Hero Run art and walks.
He has an awesome big brother Dalton- that wants to help siblings going through all this too!
