Welcome to our Team In Training home page and thank you for your support!

We are training to participate in the Lonestar Half Ironman (1.2 Mile Swim, 56 Mike Bike, and 13 Mile Run) in April 2010 as members of The

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. We are completing this event in memory of Melaina's mother, Joan Heimendinger, who died of lymphoma in 2000; and in honor of Melaina's father, Michael Heimendinger, who was diagnosed with lymphoma in 2008 - and is now, we are thankful to report, on a maintenance program.

Whether you are able to donate $5 or $500 today, we know it makes a difference and will change what it means to be diagnosed with Leukemia or Lymphoma for generations to come. Thank you for being on our team!
