Hiking to Save Lives

Welcome & thanks for visiting my page!

I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. This May I will be hiking the Big Bend National Park with the Team.

I was asked today what my "connection" was to the LLS and to be honest I don't have a direct connection. I have several friends and family members who are Cancer survivors though and I'm doing this in their honor.

I also guess somewhere in the back of my mind I think that maybe it's not today, but tomorrow it could be any of us facing this horrible disease. That's my motivation for raising funds for the LLS.
