Welcome to my Team In Training- Greater Cleveland Triathlon home page to be raced August 5, 2012
TEAMS are made up of individuals. Without them, there is no Team- Check this out:
Together WE raised $10,970 on the Boston Marathon TNT and this brings us to $94,970 towards my $100,000 goal...$6,000 more and I hope we can go over the $100,000 goal on this Triathlon.. My Boston TNT Team collectively raised $1,020,000 - a Boston Marathon record by over $60,000.WOW...
As you know, I have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, I’m participating in two of my several sports endurance events this year (2012) as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT- The Boston Marathon- April 16, and the Greater Cleveland Triathlon-August 5.
Last year I raced the San Diego and Dublin, Ireland Marathons on behalf of TNT. Again this year, I am raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well. If I meet my goals, we will exceed $100,000 raised in seven years together for charity by running , biking and swimming...One year sooner than I had hoped and commited to...
Together, we can do extraordinary things with extraordinary LOVE..
Please make a donation in support of my efforts with Team In Training and help advance the research for cures.
Thanks-!!!
Love and Prayers,
KG

A piece in The Heights Observer today by Diane DiPiero:
6-27-2012
I am on vacation for two weeks and I will focus on my family and training for the upcoming Triathlon. I will swim in Lake Erie and lap pools, sweat it out inShaker Hts Bikram Yoga classes, tune up my bikes and hit the road, lift and strech and run and run and run..All the while praying for those who still fiight the fight and those who are no longer here while holdng those who mourn them in my heart...
I am excited to be posied to meet and pass my goals. Please help me help others and contribute today in what will be my last race for TNT. I intend to meet my goal and then help others train for the same goals and help find a cure in a more exponential way- teaching and coaching others to do the same.... Relentless for a cure- that is and remains the ultimate Goal.. I will also continue to serve on The LLS Board of Directors to advocate for research and a cure along with patient care...Thanks for your help...
I remain relentless for a cure,
KG

Make a tax dedcutible donation today!!! Two lucky winners who donate for this race will be given a golf package for four with cart and lunch at Hawthorne Valley Country Club in Solon...
Your help and encouragement will get me to the finish line. But more importantly, you are helping to accelerate finding cures for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma and bring increased hope to the patients and families who are on the front lines of the battle against these blood cancers.
