Hey There,
Once again, I am running in support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and cancer research.
This year’s run is the Oil Creek 100 on October 8th! That’s right, 100 miles straight! This will be my second running of the OC 100 and you may recall I ran it two years ago. I finished the race but it was tougher than I imagined and I incurred an injury just prior. So, I was nowhere near my finish time goal of 24 hours. This year I plan to go back and hit that goal!
My fundraising goal is $6,000 to support cancer research to save lives! To reach my goal, I need your help.
All of us have someone in our lives touched by cancer. For that reason, I also run for survivors and loved ones lost to cancer. Last year, we had 127 Honorees on our Honoree list and it’s this list that helps me get to the finish line. One of our most precious Honorees is friend Nataleigh. She was diagnosed with leukemia as a toddler, endured over two years of treatments, and thankfully just finished kindergarten!
Nataleigh and all of our Honorees are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure! If you have a friend or relative that you would like me to run for in their honor, I would be proud to do so. Please send me their name and their story for they are my inspiration!
