Cycling to Save Lives
Dear Friends and Family,
The training is going famously! I have had a week off and return this week with a freshly tuned bike and a brand new seat ~ on the bike! I am looking forward to my hands, wrists, elbows, shoulders, feet and other unmentionables NOT going to sleep on this ride!
I didn't quite reach my goal of $2,900 raised by the end of July, but I've come awfully close thanks to everyone's generosity! I have another $200 being sent in as I type, so I've ended July with $2375.00! I feel confident that by my September recommittment date I will have the $2900 and be on my way to my overall goal of $5000 by the ride in November. I know its a lofty goal, especially in these economically challenging times, yet I hope that with the generosity of my friends, family and possibly even strangers, I will be able to do it! For me, its about providing HOPE.
