Trivia Night and still raising $$
Sep 17, 2011 by Annie Hooten
On July 23rd we held our FIFTH ANNUAL Trivia Night fundraiser. A great night was had by all and we raised almost $2000. We have now raised $4360 and only have $840 to go to reach our goal. Please help us as we continue to work toward the REAL goal......curing blood cancers.

We are once again Racing to Save Lives - but this time we are doing a half marathon!!
Yes, we are back as a fundraising team and will be walking the Nike half marathon together in October in San Francisco. Ed continues his coaching of the Team in Training cycling team and has participated, finished, and over the past six years has helped scores of participants to complete more than TEN 100 mile cycling events. Annie has recovered from two knee and one shoulder surgeries and has fond memories of participating in two 100 mile cycling events, one sprint triathlon, one half marathon and the satisfaction of rasing over $22,000 over the past few years.
For those unfamiliar with Team in Training, the group raises funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. We are completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
We are holding our FIFTH ANNUAL TRIVIA NIGHT on Saturday, July 23rd and hope that you can join us for an evening full of fun and lots of great silent auction and raffle prizes. For more information on Trivia Night, email us at TeamHooten@aol.com.
In the meantime please help us reach our fundraising goal by making an online donation to help advance LLS's mission. If you prefer to mail a check donation, you can mail it to
