Welcome to my Team In Training home page!!



After years of dreading "The Mile" throughout my adolescence, I have taken a massive leap of faith. I have signed up to run the 20th Anniversary Walt Disney World Half Marathon in January 2013 with Leukemia and Lymphona Society's (LLS) Team in Training!!


I am on a personal journey to grow as an individual, to overcome obstacles, and to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. Two of my best friends won their battles with Leukemia during their infancy. Both of these individuals have made such an impact on my life and I cannot imagine where I would be right now without them.

While my friends were able to beat this awful disease and have an impact on numerous peoples lives, there are others who were not as forunate. There are family members that lost loved ones too early and strangers that were not able to know and love their beautiful souls.


My personal journey includes participating in a sports endurance event as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma.


I’m improving the quality of my life by participating in this 6-month journey, and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well!
