Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
In July 2013 my father was diagnoised with stage 3 colon cancer. As a family we all looked at each other thinking what do we do next. The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society aids families in there journey to beat blood cancers. My goal is to raise money as well as honer those whose lives have been touched by blood related cancers. I am asking your help in fighting these diseases with financial support. I know times are tough, no donation is too large or too small, even just $5 can make a difference. But if a monetary donation is too much at time, please just pass along this to your network of friends and family and ask them to support me. In order to complete this half marathon I have committed to raise 3,100 dollars by March 2014. Every dollar helps!!!
I have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, I’m participating in a sports endurance event as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.
