Queridos Todos,

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) es una asociacion sin fines de lucro que tiene como meta conseguir la cura para enfermedades cancerigenas, especialmente el cancer de sangre. Team And Training es un programa dirigido por la LLS donde cualquier persona que quiera participar en la lucha contra el cancer puede colaborar corriendo un maraton para recaudar fondos y asi financiar lo ultimo en investigacion y tratamiento.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is a non-profit organization aimed at finding cures for cancerous diseases, specifically leukemia, or cancer of the blood cells. Team and Training is a program organized by the LLS in which any person who wants to participate in the fight against cancer can collaborate by participating in a marathon to raise money and thus help fund the latest in research and treatment.

Erick y yo nos hemos propuesto participar en este evento en honor de todas estas personas que dia a dia luchan por sobrevivir y tener una mejor calidad de vida.

My friend Erick and I have decided to participate in this event in honor of all those who day after day fight to survive and live a healthier life.

Nosotros queremos, principalmente, dedicar este esfuerzo a Alexia, que desde el principio de su enfermedad nos demostrola fortaleza, humildad y aceptacion que se necesita para afrontar tan grande sufrimiento.

We especially want to dedicate our efforts to the memory of Erick's sister, Alexia, who from the beginning of her battle against cancer showed us her strength, her humbleness, and desire to live were admirable.

El maraton se llevara a cabo en Annapolis, Maryland, el 6 de Junio del 2010.

Nuestra meta como equipo es llegar a recaudar $3600 dolares antes del día del evento.

The marathon will take place on June 6th, 2010 in Annapolis, Maryland. As a team, our goal is to reach a donation of U$S 3,600 prior to the event.
