Joining the Team....

Roberto and I are teaming up with the National Capital Area chapter to raise money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's phenomenal research and patient support programs. We will be part of their Team in Training program and complete the Walt Disney Half Marathon in January 2014.


I will confess that I had no intention or interest in walking 13 miles, but I went to the informational meeting to learn how to support Roberto and received some very friendly "encouragement." Roberto and I have different goals, but we're excited to be part of a program that helps us improve our own health while raising money to make a difference in the lives of people facing blood cancers and their families. The research that the Luekemia and Lymphona Society funds has already saved thousands of lives.
