13.1 miles later, we're still smiling!! Long live the king!
In high school, we participated in an annual dance-a-thon for charity. Mark was always there to cheer us on. Well, we may be older, but we think we've still got a few moves! More importantly, we hope you'll join us!

Six of us ran the Country Music Half Marathon in Nashville, TN. Now, it's time to run Disney!
This is the 20th Anniversary of the Disney Marathon Weekend. (We're still doing the HALF marathon!) There are new courses for both races, and I've heard that Disney has lots of surprises in store for the race. Best of all, we'll all come together to honor Mark and celebrate new friendships and old.
More infomation on the race is below, but here are your options for signing up.

Getting on Team Mark
If you did not find Team Mark when you registered, you can still join the team. Just email Rachel with the following information to have your account attached to Team Mark:
Once you're on the team, you'll have access to the team fundraising page and can contribute content there, too.
Alumni
If you have ever done any event with TNT, you are considered an alumni. There is no registration fee, and you get a discount on your fundraising goal.
Fundraising
Goals are set based on which participation option you choose and where you are located. Our team goal will be the total of all our individual goals combined. Since some of us have higher goals than others, looking at the overall goal and asking people to donate to the team will really help everyone. Donations made to the team are split evenly between all of the team members. Please consider this option when you are asking for donations.
Here's some basic information from TNT about the race:
WALT DISNEY WORLD® Marathon Weekend January 12 & 13, 2013
The family-friendly 2013 WALT DISNEY WORLD Marathon Weekend presented by CIGNA takes place Thursday, January 10 - Sunday, January 13, 2013. Come join Team In Training for a weekend of races that are as magical as they are memorable. Every mile is filled with Disney fun.
Saturday morning the 13.1 mile course of the WALT DISNEY WORLD Half Marathon takes you to the Magic Kingdom® Park and then to an exhilarating finish in at Epcot®, this race is perfect if you are a first timer or a veteran.
The Marathon is run on Sunday, and it's a great chance to cheer on other teammates or see the park.
We lost him too soon to a cruel predator that didn't care how much so many people needed him. February 7, 2011, Mark King succumbed to non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. On April 28, 2012, Team Mark raised more than $15,000 in his memory for LLS by running the Country Music Half Marathon in Nashville.
Now, we're taking to the sidewalks, streets and trails to train again. We ran our first race near the home where we all grew up. This year, we're going to the home Mark knew for the last 15 years of his life -- Walt Disney World -- for the 20th Anniversary Marathon Weekend.
Look out Mickey, and Long Live the King.
