Well, today I went out to the Bethesda Capital Trail and met the Maryland TNT Team for the first time. Coach Perry was so thoughtful and patient, and had great tips. Special thanks to my friend, La Tanya Justice, for sticking it out with me and helping me make it through. We did a 2:1 run/walk ratio, which felt great!
Fundraising for the big speed dating event is going well also:
I believe I can fly -- introductory flying lesson at Freeway Airport in Bowie...or maybe just sit back and listen to some music at Twins Jazz Club in DC...two of the latest raffle prizes.
