Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I'm training for the San Diego Rock 'n' Roll Marathon on 5/31/2009 as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. This event will be my third marathon overall and I am shooting to qualify for Boston in this event. Running has always been an essential part of my life and now I have the opportunity to help others in the process. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

4/1-Well, just two months left to train. It is going well. I am feeling good. No injuries to speak of and I am getting my regular training in. I actually just got done doing some hill work with my 30lb weighted vest. It is that kind of training that is going to allow me to qualify for Boston ;-)

4/27-I apologize for sending out my latest request to those of you who have already donated. Somehow the email system added you back to the list somehow during the process. Anyway, training this weekend was amazing. The weather was perfect and I was able to complete 18 miles. My legs are killing me, but I will work through it.
