We're on a mission- One Kickass Triathlon to Change the World!


I've been training to participate in the St. Anthony's Triathlon down in St. Petersburg, FL on April 26th as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, the real inspiration, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!


Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission.

  • Every 5 minutes, someone is diagnosed with a blood cancer. This statistic represents nearly 75 people each day, or three people every hour.
  • Any research result in blood cancer research is applicable to other cancers, because blood is non-specific (the reverse is not true).
  • Gleevec, one of the marquee drugs that LLS's research funded, is used as standard treatment for CML (Chronic Myeloid Leukemia) AND is being used against other cancers.
  • 1 in 3 females will get some form of cancer in their lifetime; for males, it�"s 1 in 2 males.
