Racing to Save Lives

Manda's Marathon Madness 2009


On 16 May 2009 , I began training to participate in a marathon (26.2 miles) as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. I am excited to participate as we are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in memory of my father and in honor of my younger sister, Bessie. I am especially proud to help our team honoree, 4- year-old Felder Sartin of Bogue Chitto, MS who is currently undergoing treatment at Blair Batson Children's Hospital in Jackson, MS.


$4,000 by 18 October 2009 for the Nike Women's Marathon in San Francisco. I am GOING to San Francisco for 26.2 miles or bust!


All donations are tax deductible. Please challenge friends to help too.
