Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I'm training to participate in the Life Time Fitness Triathlon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
As many of you know, this cause has become my passion. It has brought many positive changes in who I am, and how I view life. Instead of letting life pass me by, I have found a way to make a positive contribution to society.
On a more personal note, I am doing this event in honor of my sister, Helen who is currently fighting ovarian cancer. She will be my personal honoree. I am looking forward to meeting our TEAM honoree as well.
