Racing to Save Lives and Wear Spandex in Public.
What is this all about?
I will be competing this summer in the Life Time Fitness Triathlon. This is among the premiere sporting events in the world. I am also raising money to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives as a member of Team in Training.
On July 11th I will be wearing spandex in public to save lives! This Olympic distance triathlon consists of:
- 1.5K swim
- 40K bike
- 10K run - in what will no doubt be hot sticky weather.
Each donation, including yours, helps accelerate finding a cure for leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma. More than 823,000 Americans are battling these blood cancers, including my cousin Jay Allen.
