Dr. Wood is back again!
Welcome to my Team In Training home page. Over the course of the summer I will train and pledge to raise funds in the hopes of finding a cure for blood cancer. This is my second season with Team in Training, an organization that represents an important mission: giving hope to blood cancer patients by finding a cure for their cancer.
This year I have challenged myself to not only double the amount I raised last year, but to train for an event that is considered to be one of the most beautiful, but also more challenging marathons: the Kauai Marathon (http://www.thekauaimarathon.com)
The course is mainly uphill through 80% of the race until the end. I can and will do this and be smiling (hopefully the whole way!).
