Hi Everyone!! Thanks so much for taking time to visit our fundraising page. We are so excited to kick off our summer Tri season together!
...That's right... together! Last year Michele successfully completed both a sprint and olympic triathlon with the help of Team in Training. She also raised $3200 for LLS!! After last season, Michele was hooked and is back for a second year!! This time she's taking on the IRONMAN 70.3 in Racine, Wisconsin. That's a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, and 13.1 mile run! She is also a mentor this year to help her fellow TEAMmates reach their fundraising and training goals. Because of the amazing experience Michele had, John has decided to join TNT with her this year. Even though John has not competed in an athletic event since his devastating knee injury in high school, he has decided to train for a sprint triathlon (1/4 mile swim, 15 mile bike, 3.1 mile run)! He has already started working out and completing the knee-strengthening exercises given to him by his mentor. He is also dedicated to the cause and we are both excited to take on this challenge together!
This year, Team McKenzie has a fundraising goal of $5,500. Please keep checking back for updates on our training and fundraising. Also, check out the links to the right to go to our individual pages!!
Thanks for your support!!

Together, there’s no telling what we can do. As a Team, we can combine efforts to save lives.
Welcome to our homepage.
Throughout different cities and towns people are coming together to create separate teams to participate in a sports endurance event all with one common goal to honor and benefit all individuals battling blood cancers. Members of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training will be creating teams, large and small, that will be participating in sports events across the country. They will be raising funds to help find cures and more effective treatment for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. As a team, we can accomplish great things towards cures for blood cancers.
If you know of a team or individual participating in Team In Training, feel free to make a donation to support LLS’s effort to find cures and to improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
