Hello All,
3 years ago, I did my first triathlon with Team in Training. I wanted to work out, achieve a goal, and help out a good cause while I was at it.
This year, I decided to sign up again.
But life is ironic.
As many of you know, a few weeks before I began, I found out that my mom was diagnosed with leukemia.
This summer, I will be training for the Minneapolis Duathlon, and I hope you will support me in my goal of raising money to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation. The foundation funds research to fight blood cancers and supports patients and their families.
I hope that by doing this, I will be able to feel like I am doing something to help fight alongside my mom, and I hope you will help me out!
