Welcome to my Team In Training San Diego '13 home page. I am part of the LLS Mid-America Chapter and CenturyLink corporate team.

This is my second year with Team in Training. I am committed to raising money for LLS and finding cures for Leukemia and Lymphoma. I am dedicating this event to Grant McClure, Dave Grotewiel and Denise Andrews Ridings.

Dave is a US Navy Veteran, originally from Columbia, MO and now lives in San Diego with his wife Misti. He is a realtor with Coldwell Banker. Dave and Misti have two young adult children, Calli and Ryan, and their first grandbaby is on the way! Dave was diagnosed with Leukemia in October 2011 and is currently in remission.

I've known Denise since elementary school. I learned on June 3, 2012, while heading to the starting gate for my first TNT half marathon, that she had been diagnosed with Leukemia. Denise is a strong woman with a stronger faith in God and love for her family. She is currently in remission!

Grant is my nephew. He was 2 1/2 years old when he lost his life to Lymphoma in 1990.

I have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, I’m participating in a sports endurance event as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.
