Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission. If you do make a donation be sure to check and see if your employer offers a charitable gift matching program, as most employers do.
I hope you will visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. Thanks for your support!

"I am 43 years old, have been an Oncology Nurse for over 20 years, married for 22 years and have 2 boys, CJ and Tyler, 18 and 15.
In March 2002, at the age of 37, I was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) and Rheumatoid Arthritis (frequently goes with it) . I went through 3 months of chemotherapy. I was in remission for 2 years. Then in March of 2005 the Leukemia aggressively came back. This time a Stem Cell Transplant was the best option, and after receiving chemotherapy, total body radiation and stem cells from my FABULOUS brother Glenn, I am once again in remission.
Last year I did a Team in Training marathon in Anchorage, Alaska with my best friend Margi. What a great way to celebrate the benefits of life-saving research that organizations like the Leukemia/Lymphoma Society provide. I, my kids, my husband, my family and friends thank you for doing an amazing, selfless thing in sacrificing your time and energy and resources for us. Without our faith and life-saving research, I wouldn’t be here today!!!!!!!!!"
Honored Person
My grandfather, Robert S. Reinholz, who without his unwavering loyalty and generous support many people including myself would not have been given the chance to do more with their life. This is my way of carrying on his legacy. That is why I run for him.
