Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
I am training to participate in my second endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers, especially Nancy Hardin, Pastor Fred Traugott, Ed Vollenweider, and my Team Honor Hero, 3 year old Alex Wiser. These people are the real heroes on our team and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
ATTENTION: KEEP PRAYING FOR PASTOR FRED TRAUGOTT. HE IS NOW HOME RECOVERING FROM A BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT. PRAY THAT HE STAYS AS HEALTHY AS POSSIBLE. PRAY THAT GOD GIVES HIM THE STRENTH TO PULL THROUGH THIS MAJOR EVENT.
To learn more about Alex Wiser please visit his care page at www.carepages.com/AlexWiser. What a blessed little boy!
As a health care professional, working in the blood bank of a major hospital, I see the need for this cure everyday in the lives of the people and children affected by these cancers.
Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission.
I hope you will visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. Thanks for your support!
