Racing to Save Lives


Welcome Everyone to my Team In Training home page.


I'm training to run a half marathon in Phoenix, AZ next January

as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.


I am completing this event in honor of my sister who is a lymphoma survivor, in memory of my 2 1/2 year old brother Christopher whom we lost to Leukemia when I was 11, and inspired by my Mom who lost her battle with cancer this past May. While she didn't have blood cancer, she had an unkown primary cancer, and we were helpless to stop it. I'm done feeling helpless.


I'm also completing this event to honor all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
