Racing to Save Lives Welcome to my Team In Training home page. I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team. This will be my 5th event with LLS. I have completed three full and one half marathon so far. This will be my fourth full marathon. I will be running in the Nike Womens marathon in San Francisco on October 19!! Every time I finish an event I tell myself I am never doing this again. It is painful. But then I realize that my pain is nothing compared to the pain of someone going though treatment or the pain of a family memeber or friend who has lost someone to Leukmia or Lymphoma. So I will continue to run and raise money until a cure is found. Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission. I hope you will visit my web site often. Be sure to check back frequently to see my progress. Thanks for your support! |
