"Half" Way There

Thank you for visiting my Team In Training home page.

This is my second year helping to raise funds for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. My teammates and I are doing the Gulf Coast Half Iron Man Triathlon, and have set a goal to raise at least $5,000 each for LLS. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.

I am completing this event in honor of my best friend Eric, and so many other people who are battling blood cancers. Through my participation in the Nation's Triathlon in 2007, I met so many people and learned of so many friends and family that have been impacted by either leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma or myeloma that I was compelled to be part of another event for LLS. These people and their stories make for the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

I know that times are tough, and it is difficult to consider making a donation at this time. But there are so many people that need our help. Please make a donation to support my participation in Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission.
