NCAA Championship Event at Bailey's Pub a Huge Success!
Despite our beloved Spartans losing in the finals, with help and support from so many of you, our championship VIP event was a huge success! We hosted a standing room only and was able to raise over $600 in the fight against cancer.
Our fundraising deadline is coming fast, and we have momentum going, but we need your help to keep up the cadence! Please help my team and I reach our goals by making a donation today. Every dollar DOES make a difference.
Thank you!!!

Chances are that you know someone who has battled blood cancer. It could be a child who is battling this disease, someone who is entitled to a full life ahead of them (like my friend Noah here). Or it could be a person fighting it for the first time as they enter their "golden years". Regardless of age, NO ONE should have to fight this battle, and if they do have to fight it, they shoud be able to win it EVERY TIME.
I know too many friends and family members who have had to battle this terrible disease. Since I joined efforts with Team in Training almost two years ago, I have personally known eight people who have been newly diagnosed and four who have died from a form of blood cancer. Yes, that's a scary and sad statistic, but there is hope.
In that same length of time, I've met dozens who live today BECAUSE of the medical breakthroughs that have been funded through donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I can't explain the gratitude I have seen in a survivor's eyes when he or she says THANK YOU for helping to save his/her life. What a rewarding feeling to know that even the smallest of efforts can make such a profound difference.
To honor these heroes, I'll be training for a Half Ironman (which entails a 1.2 mile swim, 56 mile bike, and 13.1 mile run), racing in honor of the heroes who are fighting or have battled this terrible disease. I am also on a mission to raise $4,400 by April 24, and EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS!
Times are tough right now, and your donations are greatly appreciated. On behalf of Noah and so many others, thanks for supporting this worthy cause.
