Racing to Save Lives


Welcome to my Team In Training home page.


"Your daughter has Leukemia" , four of the worst words I have ever heard in my entire life. On February 23, 2007, my daughter Hayley was diagonsed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. She is currently in remission and doing very well, but that still doesn't stop the fact every 5 minutes, someone is newly diagnosed with a blood cancer. So every 5 minutes some family has to hear those four dreaded words.


So what does that have to do with you or I?


I am participating with Team In Training and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Spciety to help stop people from having to hear those words. This April for the second time I will again be going to Florida to race at the St Anthonys Triathlon. Last year I raised $4,100 and I would love to surpass that amount this year.


With your help I may be able to do that and help find a cure for this terrible disease.

    "As a parent first and formost I was very touched by Haley. It just melted my heart when I saw the video on Carrie Underwoods Fan Club site. Many lessons could be learned from your little angel, and her courage. Even from us adults. I have watched the video of Haley and Carrie over and over. Each and every time it has brought tears to my eyes. On that stage that evening there were two angels. Little Haley has and will continue to be in my prayers. We wonder why things like this happen sometimes. I truly believe God has very big plans for Haley. God bless you all"
