Racing to Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training home page!

I'm training to run in the Walt Disney World 1/2 Marathon(13.1miles) on January 10th, 2009 as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.

I am completing this event in honor of myself

and all individuals who are battling blood cancers.

I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma

in January of 2007. I underwent six months

of chemotherapy treatment, and am currently

in remission and doing Great!

I have a first hand understanding of what it means to have a blood disease. I'm one of the lucky one's! I hope to raise $10,000.00 to aid research efforts in finding a cure to leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and Myeloma.
