Teams are made up of individuals. Without them, there is no team.

TRAINED TO SAVE LIVES

TRAINING TO SAVE MORE

ONE MILE AT A TIME.

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I am training once again to participate in San Diego Rock and Roll Marathon as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. I am raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!!

Myself, like millions of other has been effected by Cancer. I have lost a Grandmother, my Step mother, and a "Brother" JP. JP was an Annapolis Fire Fighter and a wonderful Husband and Father. JP lost his Battle at the young age of 32.

I run, train and raise this money for my honored teamates Brain, Erin, Sarah and Joey. Each of whom are waging a battle against Cancer. I am so inspired by their strength, courage and refusal to give up. Failure is not an option and I will not give up this fight till there is an End- A Cure!

Together we can make this happen!

I am a Professional Firefighter/Paramedic trained to save lives. In honor of my wife, my son, my brothers, my team mates and all Cancer pt's and their families I will continue to train every day to save more lives and to find a cure.

Please make a donation to support my participation with Team In Training and help advance LLS's mission.

I hope you will visit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society site to learn more and be sure to check my blog and this page frequently to see my progress. Thank you for your support!

01/31/2012,

Here we go again! I say that with the utmost excitment and enthusiasm. I Have officialy started my second year with Team in Training. As excited as I might be a second year only means one thing, there is no cure and my friends and family are still sick.

Last year I ran 3 Marathons with Team in Training and with your help raised an incredible $9374.50 for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Great numbers but Joey is at St. Jude, Brain and Erin are receiving treatments, and Sarah's AML has returned. Joey and Sarah have a combined age of 28. There is still much work to be done.

So the training has officially begun. June 3rd I will hit the streets of San Diego, California for my 4th Marathon with TNT and 5th overall. I have raised the bar and set a personal goal of raising $10,000 dollars this calander year. My first Training run was yesterday and it felt great!

I look forward to sharing this years journey with you and together we can take us all closer to that ever important goal. A Cure!
