I'm on a mission to raise funds for research to find a cure and effective treatments for blood cancer.
Why am I doing this?
As as student, I registered with the National Marrow Donor Program during my freshman year of college in response to a fellow student's battle with leukemia and a shortage of African American donors. As a mom, I've been moved by the stories of brave little fighters such as Jasmina Anema who lost her battle with leukemia in 2010. And as a granddaughter, I've watched my grandmother, Ettaphine J. Scott, battle and beat cancer twice.
I do this to help improve the quality of lives of patients and families battling cancer every day. I do this to honor my grandmother. I do this to challenge my mind and body like never before.
I truly appreciate and can't thank you enough for your donations!
