Racing to Save Lives $10 At a Time!


Welcome to my Team In Training home page.


As some of you already know I'm training to participate in the 2010 Columbia Iron Girl Triathlon on Aug. 22nd, 2010 as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training!



I placed this event on my Vision Board maybe 3 years ago and made up my mind to do it this year for 4 reasons: (1) I have lost 75 pounds since last year and I am a bad mamma jamma (2) I want to test myself to see how far I have come (3) I wanted to do another event like the 2 day Avon Breast Cancer walk in 2007 to raise funds for a good cause that is close to my heart as I have a beloved sorority sister who is dealing with this & lastly (4) Its my 35th Birthday this year and I feel great and want to celebrate in a big way! What better way than doing a Triathlon?!?! :-) Ok I am sure some of you can think of a better way to celebrate but hang in there with me! lol


****I am asking my friends & family members to support me by donating just $10.00 to the cause!


All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
