NOTE:

I have changed events from PF Chang to Disney World.

Thank you to all who have contributed to my efforts to date- the individual names cannot be listed as they were on my previous page due to a glich in the system; however they have been applied and the total will appear shortly.

As of date I have raised $1,405.00.

I'm training to participate in the Walt Disney World Marathon on January 10, 2010 as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

Look for information regarding my fundraising event in December at The Riviera Cafe in Bridgewater, MA!! Music & drawing!!

184.43 miles logged since 8/12/09 and many more to go!!

10/10/09 - Hartford Half Marathon - This was a wonderful experience. I finished just under 3 hours (13mm).

10/25/09 - Groton Town Forest Trail Race - 9 miles - My first trail race. Loved running on the trails - it was beautiful!

11/1/09 - Busa Bushwack Trail Race- 5.3 miles

11/7/09 - Stone Cat Marathon Trail Race - Really looking forward to this trail race!! I don't expect to run the full distance but am prepared to finish! and I really want the finisher's jacket!

Again, thank you to everyone supporting my efforts through donations and encouragement! Sometimes I tend to push myself to the edge to see how far I can go - and I feel it - but every minute, and ounce of effort and fatigued and sore muscle is worth this journey I am experiencing. For every step I run - for those who can't - I know I am making a difference. You have my greatest appreciation for supporting me in making this difference!!
