Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page!
I DID IT!
I participated in the Seattle Rock N Roll Marathon this June as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. That's right... I ran TWENTY-SIX POINT TWO MILES! Not only that, but my wonderful husband did it too.
All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I completed this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

What does your donation do for a patient?
$25 pays for a patient's chemotherapy prescription co-pay.
$50 registers a person to become a bone marrow donor.
$75 pays for bone marrow typing for a potential donor.
$100 covers a patient's travel cost to a cancer treatment center.
$500 provides patient aid through the Society for one year.
$1000 will help fund a researcher who will help LLS find a cure.
712,000 Americas who would have died are surviving because of research funded by LLS.
