Welcome to my Team In Training home page!

I'm training to participate in the Seattle Rock N Roll Marathon this June as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. That's right... I am going to run a whole Marathon! Not only that, but my loving wife is doing it too.

All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!

This cause means a lot to us, and we became especially interested because our good friend Danielle was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma- a few times, actually- only to then be told the diagnosis was inconclusive. She found out recently that she definitely does NOT have cancer (YAY!), but there are still so many people suffering with blood cancers who need our help.

What does your donation do for a patient?

$25 pays for a patient's chemotherapy prescription co-pay.

$50 registers a person to become a bone marrow donor.

$75 pays for bone marrow typing for a potential donor.

$100 covers a patient's travel cost to a cancer treatment center.

$500 provides patient aid through the Society for one year.

$1000 will help fund a researcher who will help LLS find a cure.
