Hey everyone!

I thought I would check in so you would know how things were going so far.

I signed up for the half-marathon one week ago today. In just one week I have had 9 donations totaling $425.00! I'm beyond happy for all the donations from you everyone. I spent a lot of time thinking how can I ever raise enough money? By talking to a co-worker I was told the story of when she did the Susan G. Koman 3-Day Walk. She said that she needed to stop thinking about this was being done for her and to think that it has to do with the people who are receiving the funds. So I just wanted to thank you on behalf of the people and the families who will be receiving these funds.

As of right now this should be a time to have fun before training begins in January. Meanwhile I am training for a marathon in January so the training is in full force. I will keep everyone up-to-date on the training and other things I'm doing over the next few months as well as the half-marathon itself!

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

I have a mission-to help find cures and more effective treatments for blood cancers. To accomplish that mission, I’m participating in a sports endurance event as a member of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Team In Training. Like the other members of TNT, I will be raising funds to help find cures and better treatments for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma. I’m improving the quality of my life by participating and with your support, I can help improve the quality of life for patients and their families as well.

Please make a donation in support of my efforts with Team In Training and help advance the research for cures.
