Fashion Show at Mobius.

So I am very excited to announce I am throwing a big fashion show/benefit party for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation

The party will be on September 12, from 7-10, at Mobius located on 725 Harrison Ave, in the South End.

The show will star three amazing designers (possibly more) and DJ john Barera.

Fashions by:

Eddie Kent, avant garde designer extraordinaire, is showing a collection from 1987. Prepare to be amazed.

Mz Vixious is showing her fall collection, and it promises to be an amazing surprise.

Also the inaugural collection of Sarka (said Sharka). You can say you were the first to see it!

Music and dancing will be provided by internationally known DJ John Barera.

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

As many of you know, I am no athlete. My greatest physical skill is standing in heels. Despite this I am training to run the Nike Women’s Marathon in San Francisco. This is not something I am doing for fun, (ask my knees) although I do enjoy running when it goes well. I am running this marathon because I want to raise money for something I think is extremely important.

When I ran a marathon for Leukemia research 4 years ago, I had 14 friends or family who has battled Leukemia or other blood cancers. 4 years later the toll rose to 15 when a friend’s beloved family member lost her battle.

Blood cancers are a family of cancers whose prognosis has improved immeasurably over the years from research, and I would like to aid as much as I am able this research.

I am running the marathon to raise money for the Leukemia and lymphoma society. 75% of all donations go directly to research or patient help or other areas directly related to healing people of their cancer, and not paying charity officials to live a luxurious life…

I know times are hard, but please give as much as you can. Times are hard for the cancer patients too.

I need to raise 4 thousand dollars by October first, so give early and often!

There is a big fund raising party in preparation, and a raffle of some amazing couture jewelry, art pieces and custom purses.

If you can give $500 dollars, I will come to your home, and cook you dinner, for $1,000 I will cook one for you and your friends! This is a big offer I am a really good cook!

. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.

Help me do my part! Don’t let me down!

I will update you on my progress as I struggle along.

I am completing this event in honor of all individuals who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
