WELCOME TO MY TEAM IN TRAINING CLIMB 2 CURE HOME PAGE!
I was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia in June 2015. After a grueling chemotherapy regimen I received a life saving Bone Marrow Transplant. I believe I'm cured. I'm extremely fortunate. 74% of adults diagnosed with AML will die within 5 years. That’s why I’m asking you to donate to my Team in Training fundraising page for CLIMB 2 CURE!
Knowing that the doctors and therapies I received were funded by LLS, I have decided to use this as an opportunity to give back. I have joined a team of climbers that will train together to climb Mt. Kilimanjaro with the goal of raising ONE MILLION dollars for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society mission.
Your donation will help fund treatments that save lives every day; like immunotherapies that use a person’s own immune system to kill cancer. You may not know it, but every single donation helps save a life with breakthrough therapies such as these.
Patients need these cures and they need your support. No one should have to go through what I did; especially a child. Over the course of 4 months I spent 75 days in the hospital. When I came home I was so weak I could barely walk.
Please make a donation in support of my efforts with Team In Training and help get us all closer to a world without blood cancers.
