Racing to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page!
I'm training to participate in an endurance event as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives.
On June 14th, I will be running 13.1 miles in Lake Placid in memory of my sister-in-law, Erica, who endured seven bone marrow transplants and 37 bone marrow biopsies. Erica lost her four-year battle with this disease on March 7, 2009. She is my inspiration and motivation for taking on this challenge. We need your support to help find a cure for blood related cancers!
Please make a donation in memory of Erica, to support my participation in Team in Training, and to help find a cure for blood related cancers. I have pledged to raise at least $2,500 for this cause.
