Susan Running in Memory of Peter Condakes

What a day it was! The Marathon is over and I was able to complete the distance in just under 5 hours, running the whole way. Of course I did have to stop and give a huge hug and kiss to Bessie Condakes (Peter’s mom) and Suzanne (his sister). My family was also there cheering for me along with many Team in Training supporters along the course. And running with me the whole way was my friend and training partner, Gina Ladocsi.



Thank you to all for your support and encouragement. You helped me to achieve my goal of finishing my first marathon and, more importantly, together we helped to raise funds to support the efforts of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!


What a tribute to a great person, Peter Condakes. I was truly honored to run in his memory.
