I have said this so many times in the past 5 months of fundraising, but I cannot say it enough. Your support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society through your donations, and the encouragement and support I've personally received, has been incredible. I didn't know if I'd meet my original goal of $2000, so I'm thrilled to have raised over $5000 for LLS! When I run Boston on Monday, I will be thinking of all of you, and of the blood cancer patients we are helping. I will smile my way from Hopkinton to Boston knowing together we have made a difference! GO TEAM!

I am extremely excited to be running the 2010 Boston Marathon as a qualified entrant, and equally excited to be running as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team In Training. This cause is very close to my heart. On December 10, 1989 my father died of a rare form of leukemia. The disease took him from us within a year of his initial diagnosis. He was only 54 years old.

The 2010 Boston Marathon will be my 7th marathon, and my first Boston. I am honored to be running for Team in Training in my father's memory. All of us on Team In Training are raising funds to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkins Lymphoma, and myeloma from taking more lives. Your donation will help fund research which will contribute to advancements to help those with blood cancers.

As someone whose life has been personally affected by leukemia, I deeply appreciate any support you can give to this cause. Every little bit helps! Feel free to contact me for more information.

- LLS provides patient services such as a call center, family support groups, patient financial aid, & co-pay assistance, as well as supporting researchers as they investigate and develop new cures.
