Racing to Save Lives

Welcome to my Team In Training home page.

We are two weeks away from The Boston Marathon!!!! Thanks to you we have almost doubled my initial goal of $3600.

Some sad news. One of the central figures in my life Dr. Nate Back z"l died last month after a two and a half year battle with lymphoma. Nate was fond of the Hebrew expression, "Lo BaKoach, elah moach," "Not by force, rather mindfulness." It is with "mindfulness" that I will run the Boston marathon, with Nate in mind. Nate was an important father figure to me and in his memory my jersey will read, "In memory of Nate B." May his memory be for a blessing and may we continue to work hard to find a cure for lymphoma and other terrible blood cancers.

I am completing this event in honor of dear friends and congregants who are battling blood cancers. These people are the real heroes on our team, and we need your support to cross the ultimate finish line - a cure!
