Tri - ing to Save Lives
Welcome to Tara's Team In Training home page.
I'm training to participate in the Hyannis Sprint Triathlon June 2010 as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. This will be my first Triathlon, a personal goal I have set in my 45th year.
The money I raise will contribute to finding a cure to help stop leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma from taking more lives. As I get older I realize how grateful I am for my good health and that is why I am doing this because I CAN! I hope to help people who are battling these blood cancers for not just their good health but for their lives!
We all know people who are battling cancer - for me I have had two friends diagnosed with LL in the last six months.
Please make a donation in any amount that you can afford - everything is appreciated.
