Biking to Save Lives
Welcome to my Team In Training home page.
For the 3rd time in the past 4 years, I will be participating in a century bike ride as a member of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team In Training. This time my bike event , El Tour de Tuscon, will take place on November 21st 2009 in Tuscon, Arizona.
My goal is to raise $4,600 before I can complete my 109 miles. The $4,600 I will raise will further support the goals of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society & Team In Training. Their ultimate goal is to raise funds to help cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin lymphoma and myeloma prevent the loss of more lives. LLS also helps support families who have been affected by these diseases with guidance, counseling and support.
I am completing this event in honor and in memory of all individuals who have faced the challenge of dealing with blood cancers.
