Thank you SO SO much to everyone who donated. You have NO idea how much this means to me. Truly, it has been SUCH an amazing experience just raising the money. I was continuously touched by so many people. Truly, I had tears brought to my eyes everyday. Thank you thank you. I will continue to fundraise, HOWEVER,

Rather impulsively, I have decided to join the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's Team in Training and run a half marathon on January 29th, at Disneyland. Being a part of this team also requires me to raise a minimum of $2,200 to help further the research for cures. As many of you know, I am NOT a runner, nor am I employed (yay law school). Therefore, this is going to be a crazy few months. While it's going to be a tough battle, it's nothing compared to having to battle leukemia... which leads me to my reason for doing this.

Unfortunately, two years ago a friend and high school classmate of mine, Ashley Munsinger, was diagnosed with leukemia. After an extremely hard fought battle, she lost her life a year later. She was only 24.

Her best friend, Ashley Matarazzo (yes, two Ashley M's, both from Boston... confusing, I know), asked me to do this run with her. My initial reaction was to ask her if she was drunk (she wasn't). My second reaction was: OK, let's do this.

So, here we are, only three months away from me running 13.1 miles... (I've never tackled more than 3.1 miles). Here's my plea to you, while I spend the next three months figuring out how I am going to convince my body to not completely revolt on me, if you could donate even just $5 to this amazing cause, I will be forever indebted to you. Not only will you be furthering research for a cure for leukemia, but you will also be spending it on entertainment. Because I assure you, this is going to be a hilarious process to follow.
